At the same time, in general, based on the results of January-February 2024, the region had a positive balanced financial result.

In January-February 2024, losses of companies in the Chelyabinsk region amounted to 14.3 billion rubles, which is 46% more than the first two months of last year (9.8 billion). Chelyabinskstat provides such data on the financial results of companies in the region.

The accounts payable of companies in the region amounted to 1.2 trillion rubles as of February, which is 21.5% higher than in February 2023. Overdue debt to creditors increased by 15% over the year, to 49.6 billion rubles. Accounts receivable from organizations in February reached 1.15 trillion rubles, including overdue accounts – 64.8 billion. Year on year, debt indicators increased by 20.7% and 12%, respectively.

At the same time, in general, based on the results of January-February 2024, in the Chelyabinsk region there was a positive balanced financial result (profit minus loss) of organizations – 57.87 billion rubles. This is 6% more than in January-February last year.

According to the department, the share of profitable organizations decreased to 70.3% after 72.1% a year earlier. Their total profit also increased by 12%, to RUB 72.2 billion.
