Yard renovation season has started in Kaliningrad

The courtyard renovation season has started in Kaliningrad. The first two objects on Kommunisticheskaya and Borzov were inspected by the head of the administration, Elena Dyatlova.

In total, in 2024, 15 courtyard areas will be renovated in Kaliningrad under various programs. The improvement will affect 24 apartment buildings. 214 million rubles are allocated for the work.

“All auctions were held in December 2023. Under this program, we traditionally have early contracting and early access to sites. Bidding was held without advance payment, so that contractors could come and carry out [ремонт]rather than taking an advance and going into default,” noted head of administration Elena Dyatlova.

The city manager explained that the work is paid monthly upon completion. All entrepreneurs have their own working capital.

Contractors have already reached the sites and started landscaping. According to the contract, the process must be completed in October. The builders are hopeful that they will cope even faster.
