The head of the LDPR deputy group in the City Duma spoke about the report of the head of Saratov for 2023:

“The report of the head of the city, which was heard today with colleagues in the City Duma, is voluminous and informative, and at the same time frank. There are positive dynamics in many areas of socio-economic development of Saratov. A number of tasks set last year and announced by the head of the city at the previous report have been completed. We see that the administration is responding to our proposals, which are reflected in practice.

But there is also something to work on. Hand on heart, there are a lot of unresolved problems in the city. The issues of public transport, relocation from dilapidated housing, waste management, landscaping, and the public sector in general are very sensitive for the municipality – the city does not have enough of its own resources to solve them systematically. We set ourselves the goal of finding our own sources of budget replenishment. This is our common task, the deputy corps is actively involved in solving it.”
