The region continues to modernize cultural institutions according to the national project. Overhauls of the Onega Palace of Culture and the Arkhangelsk Youth Theater have already begun, and four virtual concert halls have been created.
In December they plan to open the updated scientific library named after N.A. Dobrolyubova in Arkhangelsk. Upon completion of the work, the institution will become the central model library of the region.
In addition, this year the region will continue to re-equip two municipal libraries according to the model standard and overhaul the building of the Arkhangelsk Puppet Theater. Two museums and a regional drama theater will receive technical equipment; eight cultural centers are under renovation.
