182 children from Orchan families affected by the flood will rest in the Druzhba camp in the city of Meleuz. They will remain there until May 16.
Neighboring regions responded to the request of the government of the Orenburg region to accept children from flood-affected areas. As a matter of priority, children from temporary residence centers and from families who have completely lost their property are sent to rest.
Currently, 100 children from Orsk and 150 from Orenburg are vacationing in children’s health camps of the Republic of Tatarstan. At the Cosmos country health center in the Krasnoyarsk district of the Samara region, 100 young residents of the Orenburg region are improving their health.
On April 21, an additional shift began for 190 children from Orsk at the Sunny Country educational and health center. At the initiative of Governor Denis Pasler, the center organized an additional shift for children over 7 years old whose families were affected by the flood. They were joined by pupils from the Orsk orphanage. Comfortable rooms have been prepared for the children, meals and educational process have been organized. The shift will last until May 4.
Also this season, children from flood-affected areas will be able to relax in camps in the Krasnodar Territory and Evpatoria. Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova reported this to the President of the Russian Federation.
