The results of the competition were summed up in the library named after A.K. Yugov “Historical memory in children’s drawings» . The competition was held by the State Archive of Socio-Political History of the Kurgan Region.
Young artists from 7 to 16 years old presented 67 works. The winners have been chosen in five categories:
– “Streets of my hometown”;
– “Family photo album”;
– “Memorable places”;
– “Family traditions”;
– “The valiant past of our ancestors”
In their works, the guys depicted their favorite places in Kurgan and Trans-Ural villages, the most beautiful city streets, shared their family traditions and warm memories of the best moments of family holidays. The works turned out to be sincere, original and creative.
The winners were awarded diplomas, and as a gift the young artists received educational books from the Kurgan branch of the military historical society and certificates for the stationery store.
