Know in order to remember. Lipchan residents wrote “Victory Dictation”.
More than two million people, not only in Russia, joined the patriotic action. “Victory Dictation” was written in 60 more countries. In the Lipetsk region, 230 sites were set up for action participants: in museums and libraries. The largest is in Victory Park in Lipetsk. Here, 80 desks were installed in the open air. Lipetsk residents sat down for them at the same time as all the participants of the action – at 12:00 Moscow time.
This year’s assignments are dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the complete lifting of the siege of Leningrad, the entry of Soviet troops onto the borders of the USSR, the anniversaries of front-line writers, as well as other memorable dates. Answers: 45 minutes. The winners will be invited to the Victory Parade on Red Square on May 9.
“The Victory Dictation is an event, an action that unites the residents of our vast country. Both here on site and beyond, beyond the borders. This is another opportunity to touch the exploits of our great ancestors,” Sergei Fedorets, a participant in the “Victory Dictation” event, told Lipetsk Time.
“This is important for every citizen. This is important for me too. This is our memory. Especially now. It even brings tears to my eyes, it really does. It is very important for me. My daughter is participating in the “Victory Dictation” at school today,” says Elena Vorontsova, a participant in the “Victory Dictation” event.
