The decision to allocate funds from the reserve fund to compensate for damage caused to the property of Sevastopol residents by attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine was made at a meeting of the city government on April 25. The total amount of compensation will be 2,239,700 rubles.
The most massive attack on Sevastopol, we recall, happened on the evening of March 23. At the same time, several residential buildings in different areas of the city were damaged and died one person who became the first civilian victim of the city. But citizens’ property has suffered from drone attacks and missile debris before.
As Elena Sulyagina, director of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, reported on March 25, a commission led by First Deputy Governor Alexei Parikin assessed the damage caused to the property of individuals at 2,239,700 rubles.
“These funds will be used to provide financial assistance to 66 individuals. 47 people will receive financial assistance in the amount of 941,500 rubles for the loss of property and 19 people who are owners Vehiclewho were injured as a result of the shelling will receive the amount of 1,298,200 rubles,” the head of the department reported.
According to her, damage to windows, doors, and property inside the apartments was taken into account.
“The commission took into account all the statements and all the questions,” said Elena Sulyagina, adding that acts based on the inspection results were drawn up by commissions at municipalities.
However, the amount of 2.2 million, as it turned out, is not final. There is, as the head of the department reported, a separate protocol that talks about the most damaged buildings. A draft resolution on it has been prepared. Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev instructed to include consideration of this document on the agenda of the next government meeting, which will take place the other day.
