Nizhny Novgorod purchased 54 units of equipment for patching repairs

Nizhny Novgorod purchased 54 units of equipment for pothole repair in two years. The news agency “In the City of N” was informed about this by the Department of Transport and Road Facilities of the city administration.

Let us remind you that this year the volume of pothole and card repairs of roads will be 165 thousand square meters. In 2021 it was equal to 72 thousand square meters, in 2022 – 80.6 thousand, in 2023 – 158 thousand.

According to the department, pothole repairs have already begun in all areas of the city. The customer monitors the quality of materials and production technology at every stage.

To ensure the standard condition of the asphalt concrete pavement of highways, work to eliminate deformations of the road surface is carried out year-round in an operational mode, the department said.

In addition, contractors have already begun work on the national project “Safe Quality Roads” on Volochilnaya and Guzhevoy streets. Repairs will begin in the remaining planned areas in the near future.
