“The uninterrupted movement of transport on roads is impossible without high-quality and reliable artificial structures. At the same time, the renovation of emergency and pre-emergency bridges and overpasses, especially the construction of new ones, requires significant funding. In 2024, 79 billion rubles are allocated for activities aimed at bringing artificial structures on the regional and local road network to the standards, including 44.3 billion rubles. ― funds from the federal budget,” noted Deputy Head of the Federal Road Agency Igor Kostyuchenko.

Work is underway on major repairs, reconstruction and construction of engineering structures in the Voronezh region.

Thus, within the framework of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”, during the period of its implementation, a bridge over the spillway of the Voronezh reservoir in the regional center, a bridge over the Tikhaya Sosna River in the Ostrogozhsky district at 112 km of the Voronezh-Lugansk highway, a bridge over the Don River in the Ramonsky district were overhauled on the Voronezh Bypass highway; in addition, overpasses on 9 January and Lenin streets were reconstructed in Voronezh.

In addition, the implementation of a large-scale project is currently underway in the regional center under the national project – the reconstruction of the Ostuzhevskaya interchange: an overpass across the railway tracks on Ostuzhev Street, a transport interchange at different levels at the intersection of Ostuzhev and Minskaya streets have already been built, and this year it is planned to begin the construction of an overpass via Leninsky Prospekt.
