The administration of Ryazan responded to requests from local residents for the construction of a crematorium. The corresponding message was published on social networks.

“Investors approached us with an initiative to build a crematorium. Specialists from the Department of Public Improvement clarified that for the construction of such a facility it is necessary to allocate a plot of municipal land with an area of ​​at least 3 hectares that meets all sanitary standards. It should be located outside the city to minimize the harmful impact on the environment,” the mayor’s office said in its response.

It is noted that, taking into account the indicated parameters, such a site has not yet been found.

“We are ready to consider constructive proposals from investors. Residents can also send their comments on this issue through the online reception on our website,” the city administration concluded.
