Measures to support large families will be strengthened in the Tambov region

The head of the Tambov region Maxim Egorov took part in the plenary meeting of the Tambov Regional Duma. At the meeting, deputies considered a regional bill on measures of social support for large families. It will not only preserve all 18 previously adopted social support measures for large families, but will also establish benefits for housing payments of no less than 30% of the established payment amount.

— Support for large families and families of participants in special military operations, veterans of the Great Patriotic War is one of the absolute priorities of regional social policy. We are constantly working to ensure that these categories of citizens do not need anything,” notes Maxim Egorov.

Please note that when assigning social support measures to large families, children aged 18 to 23 years will also be taken into account. This initiative was voiced by the families of the special operation participants during the recent visit of the Commissioner under the President of Russia, Maria Lvova-Belova, to Tambov. Maxim Egorov, in turn, assured that the wishes would be taken into account. In addition, in the event of the death of one or more children of military personnel, the status of “large family” will be maintained.

Deputies also considered the law on additional payments to veterans of the Great Patriotic War in connection with the 79th anniversary of the Victory. Regional authorities will pay them 5 thousand rubles, as well as 3 thousand rubles – to home front workers.

Let us recall that the Head of the region came up with an initiative to establish a literary prize named after the Hero of the Russian Federation, writer Anatoly Mikhailovich Eremenko, a native of the Tambov region, who died while performing his military duty during a special military operation. Anatoly Eremenko is an example of talent, heroism and patriotic mentorship. Legislators supported her. The prize will be an incentive for young talented writers to address the topic of patriotism, national pride, and military honor.
