A meeting of the United Russia party faction in the regional Duma was chaired by Yuri Pluzhnikov. Members of the faction reviewed information from the Regional Government on the implementation of national projects in the region in 2023 and plans for the current year, which was presented by the head of the department for organizing project activities of the Regional Government, Olga Marcheva.
As noted, the key priority for the development of the Tambov region, aimed at improving the quality of life of the population, is the achievement of national goals established by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. In 2023, the regional government implemented 46 regional projects within the framework of 13 national projects with a total funding of 12.4 billion rubles. At the end of 2023, the Tambov region became one of the regions of the Russian Federation that effectively implements national projects; thus, in the Central Federal District, the Tambov region is in 2nd place in terms of cash development.
All thirty municipal and city districts participate in the implementation of national projects. Taking into account the increased obligations undertaken by the Tambov region for the early completion of construction, in 2023, work was completed on time at 37 socially significant facilities within the framework of national projects and at 65 facilities of individual federal projects that are not part of national projects.
Olga Marcheva noted that significant attention is paid to informing residents of the region about the implementation of national projects and receiving feedback from Tambov residents. She also spoke about the results of each national project and tasks for the current year.
As part of the national Healthcare project, the construction of a clinic in the north of Tambov was completed, which opened this week. Also, first aid stations were built in the village. The key event of the regional project “Promotion of Employment” in 2023 was the modernization of 25 employment centers. In order to reduce tensions in the labor market, last year measures were taken to provide vocational training and additional education for 150 enterprise employees. In 2024, work in this direction will continue.
As part of the national project “Education”, 2 secondary schools were built in the northern part of Tambov – in the microdistrict. “Telecenter” and microdistrict. “Maysky”, which made it possible to create 4850 student places. “Growth Points” were also created, and modern equipment was supplied. In 2024, as part of the implementation of the national project “Education» 3 new schools are planned to be put into operation.
As part of the national project “Culture”, a major overhaul of rural cultural centers in the Mordovian and Inzhavinsky municipal districts and the building of the Inzhavinsky children’s art school was carried out. In 2023, a major renovation of the building of the Znamensky Regional Museum of Local Lore, which is a cultural heritage site of regional significance, was completed. In addition, 15 municipal libraries were re-equipped according to the model standard. In order to organize leisure time in rural settlements where there are no permanent cultural institutions, to create conditions for harmonious spiritual and moral development, and to develop social and personal qualities of a person, 3 auto clubs were acquired in 2023.
As part of the national project “Safe Quality Roads,” a major overhaul of 12 road infrastructure facilities was carried out, and 95 km of roads were brought to standard condition. In 2024, it is planned to overhaul 1 bridge, 1 overpass, as well as 3 roads of regional importance.

Based on the results of the discussion of this information, the faction decided, in order to exercise parliamentary control over the timing and quality of the implementation of national projects in electoral districts, to assign deputies-members of the faction to specific objects in the region; on a regular basis at faction meetings, hear a report from deputies assigned to the objects on the interim results of the implementation of national projects in the region.
