The court satisfied the demands of the Vyshnevolotsk interdistrict prosecutor’s office, which defended the rights of a local pensioner. Thus, another misled pensioner, a 67-year-old woman, will be compensated for the damage caused by the fraudster.

A 67-year-old resident of Vyshny Volochok was deceived by a stranger: he persuaded her to transfer her savings to someone else’s account. And the woman sent 245 thousand rubles to the account of a citizen who, as it turned out, was registered in the Kemerovo region. She was able to get her money back only with the help of the supervisory authority.

The prosecutor’s office sent a claim to the court to recover unjust enrichment from the owner of the bank account. The demands were satisfied and the account was seized. The money will be returned when the court decision comes into force.
