On the night of May 2, bridges in St. Petersburg will not be raised

St. Petersburg bridges will not be opened on the night of Thursday, May 2. This decision is connected with the May Day holidays.

If there are changes in the wiring schedule, they promise to report this on all official information resources of Mostotrest and KRTI, as well as in the Bridges of St. Petersburg mobile application.
As Business Petersburg wrote, the technical construction of the bridges began on March 11. The first to be checked was the Birzhevoy Bridge, which needed special attention after major repairs in the winter of 2023–2024.
At the beginning of April, the St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution Mostotrest approved a bridge construction schedule for the entire navigation period of 2024. Regular construction of bridges on the Neva, Bolshaya and Malaya Neva began on April 10. Bridges across the Bolshaya Nevka began to be opened on April 20.
The main change this year affected the schedule of the Volodarsky Bridge. The crossing will be completed at 05:30, 15 minutes earlier than last year. Thanks to the new schedule, public transport will be able to start moving earlier on routes connecting the two parts of the Nevsky district.
