In Kursk, the men who attacked foreign students were sentenced. The defendants in the case are 22 and 25 years old.

The young people met with foreigners studying at the Kursk university and said that they had information about their distribution of narcotic drugs. For silence they demanded 20 thousand rubles or the car in which the students arrived. The guys didn’t have that amount; the car was rented, so the hooligans agreed to buy alcohol and food.

Each time they made demands, the attackers threatened to use firearms and beat their victims.

“Trying to find money, the victims called friends, they spoke in a foreign language and were able to ask for help,” said the regional prosecutor’s office.

The attackers were detained. The court sentenced each of them to 3 years in a general regime colony.
