Victory dictation written by the new mayor of Novosibirsk

The mayor of Novosibirsk Maxim Kudryavtsev wrote the Victory Dictation. In Novosibirsk, the all-Russian historical event took place at 120 sites. School No. 220 joined them for the first time. Here, more than 300 people completed the test tasks, including the new head of the city.

“On the one hand, this is an exam that will show how well we know history and how thoroughly we have prepared. But the most important thing is that by participating in this action we pay tribute to the memory of our ancestors who walked the paths of war, glorified the Russian spirit, Russian weapons. And the memory of these events will always be with us, the memory is alive,” emphasized Maxim Kudryavtsev.

“This action, which always opens a series of different events on the eve of Victory Day, sets us up for a patriotic wave, a patriotic mood. And of course, it makes each of us think about how much we know our history, remember the chronology of events, remember the names that every Russian person needs to remember,” added the director of school No. 220 Anna Shmakova.

Victory Dictation is an annual event. Its goal is to attract people to study the history of the Great Patriotic War. The test includes 25 questions. Leading historians of the Russian Historical and Russian Military Historical Societies worked on them. Participants are given 45 minutes to complete the tasks.
