A meeting of the Council of Legislators is taking place in St. Petersburg on Friday, April 26. President Vladimir Putin arrived at the Tauride Palace, where the event is taking place. Shpalernaya Street, on which the palace is located, was completely blocked.

According to the Yandex.Traffic service, traffic also stopped on Smolnaya, Voskresenskaya embankments, Kutuzov embankment, Dvortsovaya and English embankments. Heavy traffic jams remain on the streets that have not been blocked, and in many places drivers are practically standing still.
