Tula. 26 April. INTERFAX – The authorities of the Tula region plan to reduce the number of students in the second shift with the commissioning of two new schools in Tula before the end of this year, the regional government press service reported.
“In 2024, two new schools will be opened in Tula for a total of 1.7 thousand places. This will reduce the number of children studying in the second shift,” the message says.
It is noted that the Tula region is one of the first regions where 100% accessibility of preschool education is ensured. Last year, three schools were completed: for 1,100 places in the Baltiysky residential complex, for 100 places in the village of Yamny in Tula, and also for 400 places in Donskoy. A kindergarten for 75 places was put into operation in Tula. Under the school overhaul program, 9 facilities were repaired.
As part of the national project “Education”, 33 “Growth Point” centers were created in schools in villages and small towns of the region in 2023. There are now 150 of them in the region, the total number of children covered is 18 thousand people.
This year it is planned to create 31 more “Growth Points”, as well as three children’s technology parks “Quantorium” and a digital education center “IT-cube”.
More than 130 specialized pre-professional classes operate in cooperation with universities, enterprises and other organizations. This helps children choose their future path in education and career.
“Today, for the rapid development of the economy, it is necessary to train personnel in a short time. The federal project “Professionalism” helps solve this problem. Now students from six clusters can undergo training at enterprises in priority sectors of the economy. In 2024, two more clusters will be created,” the press notes. release.
Acceptance under targeted contracts is also expanding. In 2024, their number will increase by more than 2.8 times – from 328 to 902. The region shows a consistently high level of employment of graduates of specialized educational institutions – 89.8%, which is significantly higher than the federal plan (62.7%).
A program for repairing secondary vocational education institutions will be launched in the near future. The region will attract all possible resources to modernize their infrastructure, the press service added.
