The strongest women entrepreneurs of Tyumen spoke at the forum “My Business is Like a Family”

The Tyumen Museum named after I.Ya. Slovtsov hosted the forum “My business is like a family”, held by the club of women entrepreneurs of the Tyumen regional branch of the Union of Women of Russia. The forum was organized by Anna Kharchenko, head of the Club of Women Entrepreneurs, founder of the Map of Discovery travel agency and the TravelclubKO community.

“This forum was born as a platform to support and inspire the women’s community. Our feminine strength and energy is the engine for the development of ourselves, family, team, business and the region as a whole. At the forum you will find frank stories of formation and influence, as well as practical tools for working with thinking and managing companies,” noted Anna Kharchenko on the official landing page of the event.

The forum was attended by representatives of the active business community of the region, experienced entrepreneurs and managers, aspiring entrepreneurs and those who are just planning to open a business, as well as representatives of public organizations and government authorities.

The forum was opened by the Deputy Chairman of the Tyumen Regional Duma, member of the United Russia parliamentary faction of the Tyumen Regional Duma, Chairman of the Tyumen regional branch of the Union of Women of Russia Natalya Shevchik. True, the appeal was heard from the screen in recording mode, since Natalya Alexandrovna herself is now not in Tyumen for important reasons. However, this did not stop her from preparing a sensual speech.

— It is important for the club of women entrepreneurs to support women who are involved in business. They should have the opportunity for self-realization and self-development in order to more effectively enter into the business model of themselves. A woman in business is a graceful force. Nowadays, gender ideas about women are actively changing; a woman today can do anything. It can be implemented in almost all areas.

Here you can find some connection between times and the 19th century. Women entrepreneurs of that time were most often the wives or children of merchant-industrialists or entrepreneurs. Already at that time in Russia and, of course, including in our region, they showed an example of a harmonious combination of social significance and the preservation of traditional values. Women maintained the comfort of family and home, raised children and at the same time engaged in serious economic activity. I think we really have something to be proud of: both the women who came before us and modern women,” Natalya Shevchik emphasized.

The main idea of ​​the forum is to show women entrepreneurs that they are not alone in their difficult field of activity. Not so long ago, the role of women in business was greatly underestimated in society, but modern trends show that the weaker sex is in no way inferior in entrepreneurial spirit to men. Women are often more attentive, scrupulous and responsible when running a business, which cannot but affect the results of their work. And now, thanks to such forums, women understand that their position is strong and promising. They can always find like-minded people, get support or advice on difficult issues.

The important role of women in the entrepreneurial community was also confirmed by the Chairman of the Tyumen City Duma Svetlana Ivanova:

“This platform, which is very comfortable, brings together successful women—social activists, entrepreneurs, and managers.” We can make friends here, gain some new knowledge, and exchange positive practices. Successful, accomplished women holding important positions have gathered here. In the entrepreneurial community of Russia and the region, about 40% of all participants are women. In politics the percentage is still smaller, but our region compares favorably in this regard. We don’t find it very difficult for women to get involved in politics…

Svetlana Vladimirovna also congratulated everyone on their participation in the forum and wished them constructive and fruitful work.
