Lecturers of the Russian Society “Knowledge” in Ryazan wrote the Victory Dictation

At the site of the Ryazan Institute for Educational Development, the All-Russian event “Victory Dictation” was held, in which 10 lecturers from the regional branch of the Russian Society “Knowledge” became participants.

Among the lecturers who wrote the Dictation are representatives of the teaching staff of regional universities, activists and leaders of large social movements, as well as graduates of the project “Young Lecturer Accelerator: History Enthusiasts”, which is implemented by the Knowledge Society together with the Higher School of Economics.

As part of the event, participants were asked questions about the Great Patriotic War, including the personalities of front commanders, battles and significant dates.

“A number of dictation questions are, of course, specific and require special knowledge and an in-depth study of the national history of a given period. You won’t be able to guess just by pointing your finger,” said Professor of the Russian State University. S.A. Yesenina Alexander Golodov.

In turn, the head of the regional headquarters of the “Immortal Regiment of Russia” movement in the Ryazan region, deputy chairman of the board of the Regional branch of the All-Russian public movement to perpetuate the memory of those who died defending the Fatherland “Search Movement of Russia” Alexey Tsarev noted that participation in this action is useful not only for people , who are directly related to educational activities, but also to all citizens who are not indifferent to their history: “Next year we will definitely involve pupils of school and student search teams to participate in this action.”

At the end of the event, participants were awarded personalized certificates.

“I have no doubt that all the experts who give lectures at the educational events of the Knowledge Society have successfully completed the dictation. Such actions allow our lecturers not only to be “on their toes,” but also to once again show their audience by personal example the importance of preserving historical memory and patriotic education. This is especially relevant on the eve of such a significant date for our country as the anniversary of the Great Victory,” emphasizes Alexander Selivanov, director of the branch of the Russian Society “Znanie” in the Ryazan region.
