On the eve of the celebration of Victory Day, veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in the Novosibirsk region received one-time payments in the amount of 10 thousand rubles.
As reported by the Social Fund of Russia for the Novosibirsk region, payments were made automatically, and the funds were transferred in April of this year so that veterans could receive them before the holiday.
In addition to one-time payments, disabled people and war veterans receive monthly cash payments and material support. According to the latest data, 2,182 veterans of the Great Patriotic War live in the Novosibirsk region, of which 99 are participants in the war, 132 are survivors of the Leningrad siege, 127 are prisoners of concentration camps and 1,824 are home front workers.
