The first stage of marking has begun. The workers started from the part of the city beyond the river – they are updating pedestrian crossings there, then the workers will go to the central part.
Today they began to apply markings as part of maintenance contracts. Warranty work on the markings, the one that was erased, started a week ago.
“In the riverine and central parts of the city, the markings will be applied before May 9. In the rest we will apply at night until the end of June. According to the schedule, the deadline is June 28, but we will expedite the workers. The markings are made with cold plastic. Experts will monitor the quality of application using a retroreflectometer. Poor quality markings will not be paid for,” – says the head of the municipal institution “City Services” Yulia Popova.
