A man who produced drugs as part of an organized crime group will be tried in Tver: more than 4 kilograms of prohibited substances were seized

The Tver Region Prosecutor’s Office approved an indictment in a criminal case against a resident of St. Petersburg. He is accused of illegal production of narcotic drugs, as well as the acquisition, transportation and storage of drug precursors.

In the period from May 2023 to January 2024, the accused, as part of an organized crime group, was engaged in the illegal production of drugs. His illegal activities were stopped by officers of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Tver Region.

Operatives liquidated a clandestine drug laboratory. More than 4.6 kg of narcotic drugs, almost 29 kg of drug precursors, as well as high-performance laboratory equipment were seized from illicit trafficking.

The criminal case was sent to the Tver Regional Court for consideration on the merits.
