On April 26, Governor Igor Rudenya held a personal reception for citizens. The head of the region was approached from different parts of our region for assistance in resolving various issues.

Thus, the chairman of the school’s parent committee, Valeria Korkina, approached Igor Rudena with a request to help install an outdoor play complex. In the preschool department of secondary school No. 21 in the city of Tver there are over 110 pupils from 3 to 7 years old. According to Valeria Korkina, there is no modern playground on the territory of the kindergarten. The work will be carried out under the regional program of equipping municipal kindergartens with new outdoor play complexes. During 2022-2023, modern playgrounds were installed in 84 preschool institutions in all our municipalities. This year it is planned to install complexes in 29 kindergartens.

A resident of the village of Kushalino, Rameshkovsky district, Igor Zhuchkov, approached Igor Rudena for assistance in carrying out a major overhaul of the roof of the Kushalinskaya medical outpatient clinic. Residents of 37 settlements are assigned to the medical outpatient clinic – a total of about 2,000 people, including about 300 children. The roof of the outpatient clinic building was last repaired about 10 years ago. Igor Rudenya said that the repairs will be carried out this year. In the same way, a leaking roof in a village near Burashevo will be repaired in the near future.

The chairman of the local Council of Veterans, Lyubov Mikhailova, addressed the head of the region with a question about the need to restore a military burial ground in the village of Lugi, Andreapolsky District. As Lyubov Alekseevna says, during the Great Patriotic War there was a field airfield for fighter and attack aircraft in the area of the village of Luga. Nearby, in a village in Tripolevo, there was a hospital where air ambulances delivered wounded soldiers from Rzhev, Selizharovo and Velikie Luki. Those fighters who could not be saved in the hospital were buried in a mass grave in the village of Lugi. In total, more than 200 soldiers are buried here. In the center of the military burial after the war, a monument was erected – a kneeling warrior on a pedestal.

-There is an application from Andreapol, we will support it. It is important to choose a good contractor who will carry out the work at a decent level and control the quality,” noted Igor Rudenya.

It is planned to restore the monument to the soldier, cover the pedestal with granite, and replace the slabs with the names of soldiers. New fencing will be installed on the territory and landscaping will be carried out.
