St. Petersburg can become the winner of the first All-Russian award in the field of youth tourism development “More than a trip”

The Rosmolodezh program “More than a trip” has launched registration for the All-Russian award of the same name in the field of youth tourism development.

The industry award is designed to introduce residents of the country to projects that develop youth tourism and help the authors of initiatives realize their ideas. The award includes 15 official and three special nominations, as well as a special project “More than a region.”

Individuals over 18 years of age, legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, as well as regional authorities in the field of tourism can take part in the award. Applications are accepted until May 29 on the official website. The projects will be assessed by an expert council, which includes government officials, tourism industry professionals and representatives of the award’s partners. The names of the winners will be announced on July 5 at the awards ceremony at the Youth House at VDNKh. The five best regions will also be selected as part of the “More Than a Region” special project.

St. Petersburg may become one of the contenders for the title of best region. Over the three seasons of the “More Than a Travel” program, more than 8.9 thousand local residents went on useful trips, and over 11.4 thousand young Russians chose the Northern capital as their travel destination.

Earlier, St. Petersburg showed its potential to tourists from Kazakhstan.
