On April 22, Igor Pechersky was appointed deputy mayor of the city of Oryol, the administration’s press service reports.

He began his career in 1994 at the Oryol State Pedagogical Institute as an assistant, then worked as a teacher in the department of general pedagogy. In 1994-1995, he worked part-time at gymnasium Nº19 in the city of Orel as a teacher of economics in gymnasium classes.

For six years (from 1997 to 2003) Igor Mikhailovich worked in the education department of the Sovetsky district administration as a specialist of the first category, then as a leading specialist.

He has been working in the Oryol city administration since 2003 in various positions. He worked his way up from the chief specialist of the department of organizational, personnel work and municipal service to the head of the department of municipal service and personnel of the administration of the city of Orel. Since 2020, he has held the position of adviser to the head of the city administration. The total experience of municipal service is more than 26 years.
