The 46th Moscow International Film Festival has ended in the capital. More than 250 films from more than 50 countries participated in the program. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced this on his Telegram channel.

“The 46th Moscow International Film Festival has ended in Moscow. Over 250 films from more than 50 countries participated in the program. 11 works, including one Russian, competed for the title of best picture,” the mayor said.

At the festival’s business platform, they simultaneously talked about the creation in Moscow of the country’s largest full-cycle film production center.

In addition, the participants discussed the capabilities of the Moscow film infrastructure, the prospects for the filming process in the capital, and potential cooperation between Russian and foreign film companies.

According to Sergei Sobyanin, Moscow has always been the center of the film industry.

“We invite film producers who are ready to create vivid images of the capital, offer them convenient working conditions and support them with grants,” the mayor said.
