Voronezh residents captured advertisements with pigs on Sportivnaya Embankment

Residents of the Levoberezhny district contacted the editors of Notebook Voronezh. They showed photographs that were taken on Sports Embankment. In this place, on the coast of the reservoir from the Suspension Bridge to the Chernavsky Bridge, someone posted advertisements with images of pigs. The leaflets were captioned: “When throwing trash on the street, don’t forget to grunt.”

In addition, readers sent a video showing the reason for the appearance of such leaflets. The footage shows how badly polluted the shore of the reservoir on Sportivnaya Embankment is. Broken glass, plastic bottles, cigarette packs, cigarette butts, and plastic bags are strewn everywhere. In short, a complete garbage apocalypse has begun on the embankment.

But, as local residents say, advertisements with pigs have little effect on vacationers who throw garbage on Sportivnaya Embankment.

– A beautiful place on the shore of the reservoir, every day I go for a walk to the dam, but I end up in a garbage dump. The coastal line from the Chernavsky Bridge to the dam was turned into a garbage dump. Our house regularly holds cleanup, cleaning the area, but we can’t do it on our own. Rotting mountains of garbage on the shore and in the water, broken trees, a pack of dogs, just horror! Help! – writes a reader of our publication.
