The fortieth meeting of the Tambov Regional Duma was chaired by Yuri Pluzhnikov. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Tambov Region, Maxim Egorov, and the Chief Federal Inspector for the Tambov Region of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District, Vladimir Prigornev.
At the meeting, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Tambov Region, Vladimir Repin, presented a report on the activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Tambov Region in 2023. Over the past year, 1,178 applications were received. Residents of the region addressed issues of housing and communal services, military service, social security, the penal system, security, law and order, housing rights and others. Based on the results of consideration of the submitted report, a resolution of the Regional Duma was adopted.
Deputies approved a draft resolution on the appointment of Liliya Skokova to the position of magistrate judge of judicial district No. 4 of the Morshansky district and the city of Morshansk, Tambov region for a three-year term of office.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, a bill has been developed on measures of social support for large families in the Tambov region. It retains all support measures adopted previously (18 measures of social support for large families), and is supplemented by the following measures:
– benefits for housing payments of at least 30% of the established amount of payment;
– when assigning measures of social support to a large family, take into account children aged 18 to 23 years old who take part in the SVO;
– maintain (renew) the status of “large family” in the event of the death of one or more children participating in the SVO. The bill was adopted in the first reading.
At the next meeting, deputies of the regional Duma adopted a law on payments to veterans of the Great Patriotic War in connection with the 79th anniversary of the Victory. More than 3 thousand residents of the Tambov region who belong to the category of participants in the Great Patriotic War and persons equated to them, as well as home front workers, will receive them.
At the initiative of the Head of the Tambov Region, Maxim Egorov, a literary prize was established in the name of the Hero of the Russian Federation, writer Anatoly Mikhailovich Eremenko, who died in the line of military duty during a special military operation. Anatoly Eremenko is an example of talent, heroism and patriotic mentorship. He was born in 1965 in the Tambov region. He began writing poetry and prose at the age of 24. In recent years he has published under the pseudonym Anatoly Gonchar. Member of the Union of Writers of Russia, winner of the All-Russian literary competition “Yours, Russia, Sons!”, laureate of the “For the Glory of the Fatherland” award, laureate of the special National Prize of the literary competition “Shield and Sword of the Fatherland.” Author of poetry collections and books of action-packed prose about young people who dedicated their lives to serving the Fatherland. His works were published in the country’s leading publishing house (34 books were published). He served in the Armed Forces of the USSR, including in Afghanistan, and participated in the counter-terrorist operation in the Chechen Republic. During the conduct of hostilities for the liberation of Donbass, at the cost of his own life he saved the lives and health of personnel. Anatoly Eremenko’s military merits were awarded with state awards of the USSR and the Russian Federation. For his accomplished feat, he was awarded the title of Hero of Russia posthumously. Prize of the Tambov region named after A.M. Eremenko will become an incentive for young (from 14 to 35 years old) talented writers to address the topic of patriotism, national pride, and military honor. In order to organize work on awarding the prize named after A.M. Eremenko, a separate deadline has been set for the submission of documents and their consideration at a meeting of the regional commission for awards and bonuses of the Tambov region in 2024. Changes to the description of the Certificate of Honor of the Tambov Region were also approved, including the inclusion on the Certificate of Honor of images of recognizable cultural, historical and other objects located in the municipalities of the region, the text of the anthem of the Tambov Region.
At the meeting, deputies considered award issues. All submitted materials were approved by the permanent commission for awards and prizes of the Tambov region and reviewed by the relevant committee.
A resolution was adopted to confer the title “Honorary Citizen of the Tambov Region» Vyacheslav Kuksov – General Director of the limited liability company “VISHNEVSKOE”,
about awarding the badge of the Tambov region “Hero of Labor of the Tambov Region”:
– Alexander Vinogradov—distillation operator, category 6, workshop 6, joint-stock company “Pigment”;
– Alexey Neshko – Deputy Director for Marketing and Development of the Tambov Regional State Autonomous Cultural Institution “Tambovtheater”;
– Dmitry Sychev – surgeon at surgical department No. 2 of the Tambov regional state budgetary healthcare institution “City Clinical Hospital No. 3 named after I.S. Dolgushina, Tambov“,
on awarding the Tambov Region Prize to 19 candidates.
A resolution was also adopted on awarding the badge of the Tambov region “For services to the Tambov region“for the contribution to the development of the railway industry and the fruitful social activities of Alexey Kozlov – foreman of the Morshansk production site of the Penza production site of the Kuibyshev Directorate for the repair of traction rolling stock of the Directorate for the repair of traction rolling stock – a branch of the open joint-stock company “Russian Railways”.
At the April meeting, deputies considered 17 issues on the agenda.
