Already in the second half of 2024, all Tula public transport will be equipped with stationary validators. The Tula News Service learned about what awaits the conductors.
As the first deputy head of the city administration, Dmitry Yartsev, told us, validators will be installed on buses after the entire rolling stock is updated.
Despite the new fare payment system, conductors will still remain on the transport. They will carry out control and audit activities for ticketless travel and compliance with the rules for using city passenger transport.
Let us remind you that the first validators appeared on Tula trams back in December last year. They were installed at each entrance to the transport to reduce the boarding time for passengers.
Then the system was introduced into trolleybuses in the regional center. Residents were able to use them on April 11.
