The Minister of Housing Policy of the Moscow Region, Inna Fedotova, represented the regional government at the international exhibition and forum “Russia” on the day of national priorities “Infrastructure for Life”. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Housing Policy.

Today, over the past 10 years, the Moscow region has been the leader in the commissioning of housing construction in the country. It should be noted that we are actively involved in the development of projects for the integrated development of the territory. KRT is a mechanism that allows not only to develop territories in terms of housing construction, but also to build roads, build social facilities and, accordingly, resettle our residents from dilapidated barracks into comfortable housing,” said the head of the region’s Ministry of Housing Policy, Inna Fedotova.

Together with the Minister of Housing Policy, the event was attended by the chief architect of the Moscow region, Alexandra Kuzmina, and the first deputy minister of housing and communal services of the region, Sergei Cherepanov.

“The Infrastructure for Life project, which is presented here at the federal level, has been implemented here since 2014 on behalf of the governor. In terms of infrastructure facilities, this is about 1 thousand activities that were completed over 10 years. A large amount of money from the regional budget was spent, about 120 billion rubles. Thanks to this, the quality of life of 2.5 million residents has improved. Including, first of all, water quality and other environmental indicators. It is gratifying that today the Federation is supporting our regional projects here. Of this amount, about 120 billion rubles, today we understand that almost half is federal support. Thanks to this support, we will continue to improve the quality of life of our residents,” added Cherepanov.

Earlier, Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov noted that the Moscow region is the leader in the commissioning of apartment buildings in the country. This year, 9.8 million sq. m. have already been commissioned in the region. meters.

According to the governor, now a lot of effort is being directed at resettling residents from dilapidated houses.
