In May, an exhibition of works by photographer Irina Okisheva, who tragically died along with her husband Pavel during the terrorist attack at Crocus on March 22, will open at Krin on Karl Marx, 18a.

According to a close friend, Irina made a wish for 2024 – to organize a personal exhibition. Therefore, friends, colleagues and simply caring people are making every effort to make this dream come true.

– Now we have decided to increase the format of the work from A3 to A2, so we are waiting for a response from the press. Previously, they planned to print it by May 15th. Now, perhaps, it will take more time,” Irina’s friend Yulia Gordeeva told the Svoykirovsky portal.

An announcement was posted in the Krina public page about the imminent opening of an exhibition that will be on the third floor of the building.

– One of those who died on that black day, March 22, was our fellow countrywoman, a talented photographer with a pure and bright soul – Irina Okisheva. Dreams, plans, desires, unrealized projects, unpublished works ended overnight. Irina often worked in the Project 7 photo studio. Irina’s friends and caring residents of our city are preparing an exhibition of photographs so that as many people as possible can touch the talent and realize the fragility of life.
