The author of the city meme that became famous in one day has been found. Let us remind you that this morning the chairman of the Public Chamber of the Tambov Region, Vladimir Penkov, posted a photo on his page on the social network VKontakte with an inscription that amazed all Tambov residents. On a sign in the park recently reconstructed under the project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” it was written in black and white – “Public space from house No. 11 on the street. Lermontovskaya to the park named after. M.Yu. Lermontov and st. Sovetskaya 57/11.”

“This was clearly not written by a “Soviet” person,” noted Vladimir Penkov.

As it turned out, the famous Tambov political scientist was 100 percent right. The author of the renaming, who was born after the disappearance of the Soviet Union from the map, was found late in the evening. It turned out to be an employee of the Directorate of Landscaping and Improvement named Roman, the head of the Tambov administration Maxim Kosenkov wrote in his Telegram channel. They promised not to fire the guy, but to give him a primer and a Russian language textbook.

So that the young man will never forget how to spell “Sovetskaya Street” correctly.
