In Yaroslavl it is necessary to solve the problem of shortage of emergency medical workers – Mikhail Evraev-Yarreg

The Regional Government hosted a meeting of the Coordination Council of Chief Freelance Specialists of the Ministry of Health under the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region. A wide range of issues of access to medical care in municipal areas, the work of emergency medical services, attracting young personnel to medicine, the dynamics of clinical examination of the population, as well as the reception of patients in clinics in the evening and the availability of oncological care at the clinical diagnostic center of the Yaroslavl Regional Oncology Hospital were discussed.

“It is necessary to analyze the situation in which in almost all regions, including Rybinsk, the supply of doctors and emergency medical assistants is close to 100%, but in Yaroslavl there is a significant lag,” said Governor Mikhail Evraev. – There are support measures in rural areas and small towns in the region, respectively, and in Yaroslavl they need to be developed in order to resolve the issue.

The head of the region also drew attention to the need to improve targeted training for ambulance personnel in medical colleges at the request of healthcare institutions, taking into account their needs. According to the governor, it is also necessary to work to introduce incentive measures for drivers of stations and emergency departments.

Also during the meeting, Mikhail Evraev emphasized the need to continue work on transferring clinic files to an electronic document management system and set the task of conducting cadastral registration of hospital territories and installing fences where this has not yet been done. Such measures are needed to increase the level of anti-terrorist security.

Minister of Health Sergei Lugansky reported on the dynamics of medical examination of the population and preventive measures among children. When analyzing data for the first quarter of this year, the leading and outsider districts were identified. As for medical examination, as Sergei Lugansky said, among medical organizations with an attached population of more than 80 thousand people, institutions such as clinical hospitals No. 2, 9 and the Central City Hospital of Yaroslavl do the best job of this work. Hospital No. 3 needs to catch up.

“Among the district hospitals, Uglich and Pereslavl Central District Hospitals stand out, as well as the Pirogov Hospital in Rybinsk and city clinic No. 3,” noted Sergei Lugansky. – The picture looks more uniform with preventive measures for children. Here, the vast majority of medical institutions meet the required indicators.

Council members also put forward an initiative to improve the format of the emergency department of the Yaroslavl Regional Clinical Hospital, which will make it possible to more quickly determine the severity of the condition of incoming patients. In addition, initiatives were announced to improve the garages of emergency medical care stations.

Council members also discussed the issue of the operation of clinics in the evening. So, since the beginning of this year, thanks to the fact that the work of clinics on the initiative of Mikhail Evraev was extended to 22 hours, 36 thousand patients were able to get an appointment in the evening.

The chief doctor of the Yaroslavl Regional Oncology Hospital said that oncologists at the clinical diagnostic center are seen from 7.00 to 18.00, and from the summer specialists will work until 20.00. The system of telemedicine consultations, available even in rural medical and obstetric centers, also significantly improves the quality of life of patients.
