From 00:00 on April 29, a major overhaul of tram tracks on Novo-Sadovaya will start in Samara.
It will take place on the section from Barboshina Polyana to Novo-Vokzalnaya Street until June 30 of this year.
The Samara Department of Transport has published a revised tram schedule:
No. 5: Fadeeva (Northern tram depot) – Novo-Vokzalnaya – Novo-Sadovaya – Lenin Avenue – Polevaya – Artsybushevskaya – Krasnoarmeyskaya¬ – Frunze – Pionerskaya – Chapaevskaya;
No. 7: Tarasov plant – Novo-Vokzalnaya – Stavropolskaya – XXII Party Congress – Pobeda metro station;
No. 11 (on weekends): Barboshina Polyana, Moskovskoe Highway – Solidarity Samara Arena – Tashkent – Stavropol – XXII Party Congress – Gagarin – Industry – Aurora bus station.
No. 12 (on weekends): Plant named after. Tarasova – Novo-Vokzalnaya – Stavropolskaya – XXII Party Congress – Zavodskoe Highway – “Yungorodok” metro station.
No. 22: Barboshina Polyana – 15th microdistrict – Press House – Postnikov Ravine – Chapaevskaya;
No. 24: Barboshina Polyana – Tashkentskaya – Pobedy – Zemetsa – Kostroma Lane.
A custom bus route will also be launched: from Tashkentskaya Street along Democratic and Novo-Sadovaya streets, to the XXII Party Congress to the Orange shopping center. After turning around under the overpass, go in the opposite direction to Tashkentskaya Street.
Stops are provided at all nine stopping points.
Bus operating hours are from 5:30 to 22:20; traffic intervals during rush hours are from 5:30 to 10:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 – 3 minutes, at other times – 7 minutes. Travel is free!
Also, the new commercial route No. 88 will run test runs from the Mother and Child hospital (near the Solidarity Samara Arena stadium) to the river station – the route runs through Novo-Sadovaya Street and Solnechnaya Street.
It is planned to use up to 15 units of rolling stock for transportation. Buses will turn onto Solnechnaya Street in the area of the Cyril and Methodius Cathedral. At first, the route will pass through the territory adjacent to the MTL “Arena“, from where buses will go to Novo-Sadovaya Street.
