In St. Petersburg, on Arts Square, there is the Mikhailovsky Theater – one of the most famous musical theaters in Russia. No expense is spared in maintaining the theater; large companies and the state provide financial assistance. For example, the theater decided to renew its vehicle fleet, since the company cars were outdated, both morally and physically. Two foreign cars are up for auction for a total amount of 2.7 million rubles.
On the GIS Bidding website, the St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution of Culture “St. Petersburg State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after. M.P. Mussorgsky – Mikhailovsky Theater” placed two lots. Two foreign Ford Mondeo cars with impressive mileage are for sale. Applications for participation in the auction are accepted until May 16, bidding will start on May 21.
The starting price of a 2018 Ford Mondeo, which has covered more than 198 thousand kilometers, is 1.3 million rubles. The second Ford Mondeo ran a little less over six years of operation, 175 thousand kilometers, so it was valued at 1.4 million rubles. The front-wheel drive black sedans have the same 198 hp engines. The Mikhailovsky Theater was the sole owner of the cars.
The documentation for the auction does not contain data on the condition of foreign cars, so potential buyers are invited to house No. 1 on Arts Square for a detailed inspection.
According to car sales websites, a Ford Mondeo with similar parameters in St. Petersburg can be purchased for 1.3-1.9 million rubles. But there are few such cars in the city; most likely, foreign cars from the Mikhailovsky Theater will be successful at auction.
