The Square of Writers, behind the city administration, was previously an empty area with a couple of flower beds and a monument to Bunin. There wasn’t even a place to sit here, but now he’s unrecognizable.

It housed three types of benches – regular, radius and with canopies. There are bins, illuminated swings, good lighting, and the entire area is paved with tiles.

And the square really lives up to its name. After the transformation, in its heart there is a bas-relief on which the names of Oryol writers are immortalized and an exact architectural copy of the city center of Oryol is recreated, on which you can see the sights of the city in miniature.

It is worth noting that this entire project was brought to life thanks to the funds of the philanthropist, which was Orelmaslo JSC.

The square really turned out to be very successful, which is confirmed by the satisfied faces of Oryol residents vacationing there.
