Siberian Reporter – A film about the industrial achievements of Novosibirsk was presented at the Russia Exhibition

Filming of the film about Novosibirsk took place at several large enterprises of the city: at the Novosibirsk Chocolate Factory, at JSC Mashzavod Trud and at the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant named after V.P. Chkalov. Thanks to the documentary series “Forge of Effective Personnel. New Shift” viewers will learn not only about the heroic deeds at factories during the Great Patriotic War, but also see how these enterprises operate today.

“No economy of any country can exist without production, only on trade and finance. And it’s great that in recent years, recent decades, society has realized, and most importantly, young people have realized that working engineering is an interesting and prestigious profession,” the Governor emphasized Andrey Travnikovwho took part in the filming of a documentary about Novosibirsk.

The presentation in the pavilion at VDNKh was attended by Timur Siraev, director of the Foundation for the Development of Production Systems and Industrial Tourism. He greeted everyone present and talked about why the decision was made to create such a series of films.

“These films personify the fortitude and creative work of workers who tirelessly put their souls into their work. We are convinced that their dedication and diligence should serve as a model and source of inspiration for us. It is especially important that the younger generation perceives them as an example of hard work, perseverance and self-confidence. Thanks to their efforts, cities prosper, industry grows stronger, and life takes on new colors and levels of comfort,” noted Timur Siraev.

In total, the Knowledge Society and the Foundation for the Development of Production Systems and Industrial Tourism will release six films. In the near future, episodes about Ufa, Kemerovo and Kazan will be released. In addition, another episode of the series will be devoted to career guidance and career opportunities in Russia for young professionals. During communication with the audience during the presentation, the chief director of the Knowledge Society, Oleg Chervonyak, revealed what actually is the main value of the new films.

“This project is about people, this is the most important and valuable thing about it. We talk exactly about them. Engineers, designers, laboratory assistants, designers and many others are a single chain of workers in large enterprises. These are true professionals in their field who understand their profession and are ready to share their knowledge and experience with others. Thanks to these films, the Knowledge Society introduces viewers to leading Russian enterprises, focusing on the limitless opportunities they offer to people who have dedicated themselves to the development of our country,” the director noted.
