The winter has passed, but strong impressions from it remain. First of all, because it turned out to be super snowy. Governor Vladislav Shapsha, answering a question from journalists on Niki TV, praised the snow removal work in Kaluga, which caused many complaints from residents.
An objective fact is that there was indeed a lot of snow, but, according to the head of the region, this is not an excuse. And while the wide roads were cleaned quite well, “virtually no one took care of the sidewalks where there are wipers.” There were obvious problems with narrow passages.
Vladislav Shapsha noted that 10 units of small compact equipment are being purchased for the city, which will clean sidewalks, driveways, and bottlenecks. At the same time, the question is: who will work on this equipment, since there is a shortage of both janitors and drivers of harvesting equipment. According to the head of the region, the city authorities will have to resolve these issues before the start of winter and add these workers.
