On April 18-19, the All-Russian Scientific Conference “Samara text. Looking for home“, dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the writer E.N. Chirikov and the 140th anniversary of the Samara Newspaper.
Researchers from seven universities took part in the conference, including Moscow State University. Lomonosov, great-grandson of E. N. Chirikov – M. A. Chirikov, research workers of three museums.
E. A. Shchepalina, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Classical and Foreign Linguistics of the Samara Theological Seminary, project executor of the Department of Support of Scientific Projects of the Russian Christian Humanitarian Academy named after F. M. Dostoevsky, spoke with the topic “Father’s House” as an ontological value in the work of S. N. Durylin.”
The work showed that home, native space is inextricably linked in the writer’s texts with the House of Eternity, with the deep values of Russian spiritual culture.
