The Kuban delegation took part in the Day of National Projects at the “Russia” exhibition in Moscow

At the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” at VDNKh, the “Day of National Projects: Infrastructure for Life” was held.

The Krasnodar region was represented by a regional delegation led by Vice-Governor Andrei Proshunin.

It included the head of the department of architecture and urban planning of the Krasnodar Territory, Ilya Pozdnyakov, and the head of the State Institution “Institute for the Development of Urban Planning and the Urban Environment of the Krasnodar Territory” Alexey Pogrebenko.

At the Kuban stand, a model of the development concept for the north-eastern part of the regional capital, achievements in the fields of architecture, construction and housing and communal services were presented.

“The Krasnodar region is a stable, competitive region of smart, active and creative people, one of the leaders of the Southern Pole of Russia’s growth. Thanks to federal support, we are gradually increasing the comfort, quality and standard of living of citizens, and also creating competitiveness and high-tech in the construction and housing and communal services sectors,” said Andrei Proshunin.

In addition, as part of the Stimulus program, several facilities that are significant for the region are now being built, for example, storm sewer networks in Krasnodar, a sewer collector in Anapa, and schools for 1,100 students in Sochi, the vice-governor added.

In total, from 2019 to 2023, as part of the implementation of the regional project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment”, more than 1.3 thousand territories were improved in the region. And in 2024 they plan to renovate 104 recreation areas, and over 4 billion rubles have already been allocated for these purposes, reports the press service of the Krasnodar Territory administration.
