They will be held from May 7 to 11 in Shanghai, Beijing and Chengdu – the largest economically developed cities with a highly solvent population. Specialists from the city’s tourism industry will present their proposals to colleagues from China, which before the pandemic was one of the leaders in inbound tourism in St. Petersburg and is on the list of priority countries in terms of the development of inbound tourism in the Russian Federation.
Currently, Pulkovo and Chinese cities are connected by 16 flights a week. The national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry” envisages an increase in the export of tourism services in Russia to $22.3 billion by 2030.
The material was published in the newspaper “St. Petersburg Vedomosti” No. 77 (7653) dated April 26, 2024 under the heading “We will present tourism products to China.”
