Today, the Duma of the Samara City District met with great joy and pleasure members of the Moscow Youth Parliament, who had a unique opportunity to personally familiarize themselves with the work of the local legislative body.
The tour of the Duma was interesting and educational. The Youth Parliament learned about the significance and role of each cabinet, became acquainted with the composition and structure of the Duma, and much more.
After a tour of the building, young parliamentarians were given a reception in the meeting room, where they were able to get to know the Chairman of the Duma of the Samara Urban District. Alexey Degtev , hear the rich history of the city and simply exchange experiences of their work and projects with fellow members of the Public Youth Parliament under the Duma present. Delegates from the “youth team” learned how, under the patronage of the Duma, on the initiative and with the participation of members of the OMP, more than 80 socially significant events and youth actions were held during the reporting period of 2023. This is also the traditional action “Eaters of Illegal Advertising”, in which every spring, on the initiative of “youth”, high school students and students destroy numerous leaflets and advertisements posted in inappropriate places. In addition, this includes participation in the organization and conduct of a series of environmental events, cleanup days, active participation in the collection, formation and delivery of parcels with humanitarian aid for military personnel participating in the Northern Military District and many other socially oriented events.
In addition, the guys were able to move on to a “dialogue on equal terms” and ask questions of interest to both Alexey Degtev and the Chairman of the Public Youth Parliament under the Duma Alexey Satonin.
At the end of the meeting, the guys discussed their impressions and exchanged opinions with each other.
