Two people were injured in a traffic accident in Tambov. The accident occurred on April 25 on Boris Vasiliev Street. According to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, a 56-year-old driver of a Volkswagen Polo, at an unregulated intersection when turning left, did not allow a Datsun on-DO moving towards him to pass. A 56-year-old man was driving.
As a result of the accident, a passenger in a Volkswagen Polo, a 22-year-old girl, and a passenger in a Datsun on-DO, a 39-year-old woman, were injured. They were taken by ambulance to the City Clinical Hospital named after Archbishop Luke in Tambov.
The State Traffic Inspectorate reminded drivers that in accordance with clause 13.12. Traffic rules of the Russian Federation “When turning left or making a U-turn, the driver of a trackless vehicle is obliged to give way to vehicles moving on an equivalent road from the opposite direction straight or to the right.” Earlier it was reported that the 55-year-old driver of a Skoda Octavia, moving along the main road when making a left turn, did not give priority to the oncoming MotoLand XV250-F motorcycle, driven by a 34-year-old man.
