The 20th Congress of the Council of Regional Municipalities was held in Kaluga

At the congress of the council of municipalities and deputies of representative bodies of municipalities in the region, held today in Kaluga, issues of development of rural areas, participation in the projects “Municipal Dialogue”, “Strong Family – Strong Russia”, support for SVO participants and their families were discussed.

Governor Vladislav Shapsha announced this in his Telegram channel.

With their questions and complaints, residents first of all turn to the local authorities; they expect attention and help from them. And here, sincere concern for one’s fellow countrymen, initiative and perseverance are important,”

During the congress, Vladislav Shapsha presented the head of the administration of the joint venture Myatlevo Village, Lyubov Venidiktova, with a badge and a certificate of the honorary title “Honored Worker of Local Government of the Russian Federation,” which our countrywoman was one of the first to receive in the country.

– noted Vladislav Shapsha, noting that the village has changed noticeably during the work of Lyubov Venidiktova. The school has undergone major renovations and installed new equipment. A sports and cultural center has been built, and a lot is being done to improve the area.

Co-chairman of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government Irina Guseva took part in the congress. She warmly welcomed the participants of the congress, noting that these are leaders of public opinion, caring people, those who, with their experience, wisdom, love for their small homeland, every day together with the residents and for their sake change lives for the better.
