The greening campaign starts on April 27

This spring, 450 trees and shrubs will be planted in Smolensk. The administration of Smolensk spoke about such plans, specifying that the landscaping campaign will start on April 27.

“As part of the “Garden of Memory” campaign, 15 rowan trees and 25 maples will be planted,” the administration’s press service said.

The landing site will be a park on Nikolaev Street

Also, new trees will appear on the streets of 12 Let Oktober, Raevskoye, Zhukov and Kievskoye Shosse. In addition, Zelenstroy plans to work on Dokuchaev Street.

Young apple trees will be planted here to replace old trees.

In addition to rowan trees, maples and apple trees, this spring they intend to plant linden trees in Smolensk (there will be the most of them and maples – 80 seedlings each) and larches. And also 200 bushes of bladderwrack and spirea.
