Kolyma residents received a unique opportunity to touch the history of our country

April 27. This year, the “Victory Dictation” was written by over 700 residents of the Magadan region. MagadanMedia news agency reported this in the press service of the Magadan Regional Office of the United Russia WFP.

The centers of patriotic unity of Kolyma residents of all ages have become the North-Eastern State University, the sports and technical center “Podvig”, libraries, centers of additional education, museums, and school auditoriums. It could also be written online on the website dictantpobeda.rf.

This year’s assignments were dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad, the entry of Soviet troops onto the borders of the USSR, the anniversaries of front-line writers, as well as other memorable dates.

School graduates who took part in the Victory Dictation can claim preferences when entering universities. To do this, they had to answer all 25 questions correctly in 45 minutes, previously reported the coordinator of the “Historical Memory” project, first deputy secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia party, Eduard Kozlov.

He also added that on the day of the dictation in Magadan, the “Letter to a Hero” campaign took place for the first time.

With the support of Russian Post, Kolyma residents were able to write letters to military personnel in the Northern Military District zone. This could be done at the North-Eastern State University and the Podvig military sports and technical center.

In addition, the winners of the regional stages will receive valuable gifts, and the 20 federal winners will receive an invitation to the Victory Parade in Moscow.

Let us remind you that the “Victory Dictation” is being held under the auspices of the United Russia party project “Historical Memory” for the sixth time. The action’s partners are traditionally the Russian Historical Society, the Russian Military Historical Society, the “Volunteers of Victory” movement, as well as ministries, departments, non-governmental and public organizations, and state corporations. Law enforcement agencies take an active part: the Ministry of Defense, the Russian National Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
