Rostov security forces are preparing for Palm Sunday. All 55 Orthodox churches in the city will hold services on April 28 – and security measures are promised to be unprecedented.
“Order will be ensured by police officers, representatives of the Cossack squad and volunteers,” said the Rostov mayor’s office.
Governor Golubev recently demanded that security measures be strengthened before the May holidays – he made such a statement at a government meeting.
