The laureates of the public-state prize “Dobronezhets” were awarded in Voronezh – Internet channel “TV Gubernia”

The 10th anniversary solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the Dobronezhets public recognition award was held in the capital of the Black Earth Region. Over the years, the expert council reviewed about two thousand applications, and more than 300 residents and organizations of the region became laureates. This time, out of 400 applicants, only three dozen people received the coveted statuettes. Let us remind you: the “Dobronezhets” competition is held by the Resource Center for Support of Non-Profit Organizations with the participation of the regional government, the regional Public Chamber and the Presidential Grants Fund. The meaning of the award has not changed over the 10 years of its existence: it is awarded to Voronezh activists, local communities, organizations and enterprises, government officials and the media who have made a significant contribution to the public life of the region.

Valery Chernikov, director of the Resource Center for Support of NGOs of the Voronezh Region, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation:

— Every year the number of projects is growing, I think this is wonderful, because the Dobronezhets movement is expanding in our region. Despite any challenges that arise in our society, in the country, people unite. You know, when we review applications, it is very difficult to evaluate them, because almost every competitive application is imbued with goodness, we even have some experts, when you invite them next year, they refuse to evaluate them: they say it is simply impossible to evaluate, all are worthy, all are kind .

The projects and initiatives highlighted at the current ceremony traditionally mainly related to culture, education, health care, as well as volunteerism and corporate volunteering. One of the most popular nominations of “Dobronezhets” – it is also one of the youngest – “We do not abandon our own.” The award is being presented for the second time: for support of SVO participants and assistance to military families. This year, more than 80 applications were received for consideration by the expert council. After difficult discussions, the jury selected three winners. One of them is the Cossack ataman Vyacheslav Deev. Together with his team, from the very beginning of a special military operation, he has been sending humanitarian supplies to the front line. Recently, during another trip to the Northern Military District zone, Vyacheslav was seriously wounded by fragments of a Polish-made mine. However, he is under no circumstances going to give up his public mission.

Vyacheslav Deev, volunteer, laureate of the “Dobronezhets” award:

“We are already continuing, we are transporting, we literally left the hospital, and on the second day we went there. So no one canceled their duty to our homeland – Russia. Every man must participate, and since we are representatives of the Cossacks, we are in the forefront, on the front line, our guys are fighting. We bring them humanitarian aid, our brothers, uncles, relatives, we have a lot of people there. And we, of course, are participating.

“The relevance of this award is evidenced by both the quality and quantity of patriotic projects this year. Projects to support our guys, the fighters who are currently defending our Fatherland, are located directly in the zone of a special military operation. Therefore, I would like to wish all participants, especially with such projects, not to rest on their laurels and enthusiasm for activity. And their faith, our common faith in the victory of our country, it inspires us, and we support, of course, this award, we support the activity of all our social activists.
